A memorial portrait isn't really about loss, it's a celebration of life.
I don’t need a perfect, professional photograph. I’d rather work from the phone snap with the familiar expression, the mud, the stolen sock, the ridiculous ears, the rosette, the grin.
The memories.
I get to know your animals through the stories you tell me and the photographs you love.
My goal isn’t simply to draw what they looked like.
It’s to create something that feels like them.
I make choices that capture more than just markings and anatomy.

“I got a portrait of my horse commissioned who had sadly passed away. Evie was always super lovely and wanted to make sure that the portrait was exactly how I had imagined it. Her work is incredible and the portrait exceeded my wildest dreams.”

"Louis"
Evie has drawn the most incredible portrait of my Irish Setter Louis. I commissioned it as a special birthday present to myself for my 50th, a month later he tragically died at 5.5 yrs old. Totally devastating… the portrait she has done absolutely captures him and the eyes!!! It makes me emotional - thank you Evie - it will be one of my most treasured possessions.

Worried you don't have a perfect photograph?
You don't need one.
Older photographs or imperfect phone pictures aren't necessarily a problem. Sometimes the photo that captures them best is far more useful than the technically perfect one.
As long as I can see their eyes, markings and distinctive fur patterns, I have the experience to make it work.
